ARMA II Mod called Day Z has moved into Alpha Phase of release and has summoned up a surge of people buying the original (and expansion pack) on Steam. A pretty good case study as to why developers should be including modding tools.
League of Legends reveals Darius Artwork
We’re now up to 97 champions in the League of Legends, and with the latest character announced ‘Darius’ will become our 98th champion. But what will he be? Jungler? AD Carry? Support? AP Mid? Top Bruiser? All up in the air but we have our suspicions.
LoL Free Champion Rotation – May 15th
The same time that Diablo 3 releases, League of Legends releases probably the best free champion rotation I’ve seen in a very long time. Not only do we have Nautilus and Shyvana – some monsters of the jungle that I’m sure most people have been wanting to try out – however it also has 3 massive powerhouses of the top and mid lane in Cassiopeia, Kennen and Mordekaiser.
Guildwars 2 Beta Event Today!
Arenanet open the servers for another day to stress test their hardware for Guildwars 2. It is ideally starting as us Europeans get home from work too! If you haven’t yet purchased the game – you can do so easily at their site. Also I toy with a countdown clock.

I’ve just added a new feature hopefully it goes over well, a few people were asking for it – and I know some guilds that were looking for somewhere seperate to call their home and discuss top secret plans. A short and sweet personal update – in which I see the reigning Monarch of the UK – may she live forever – and I get a copy of DoTA2 which I’ll start playing this evening!
LoL Free Champion Rotation – May 1st
Another week another champion rotation – this week Hecarim the newest addition to the fields of justice is introduced and he is quite a fun champion it must be said. There is a lack of great supports or AP carrys this week though – easily solved by picking up the two cheapest champions in the game, Annie and Soraka.
Spectator Mode Patch Notes Released
Riot Games release the latest patch – the Spectator Mode patch notes! Some huge things in this patch that people have been waiting for – for quite a long time. Having proper spectating ability in the game should really help grow the scene and community with the ability for people to hop into games of high level players, or even just their mates – this also helps casters and other YouTuber’s to continue pushing content up for us to enjoy.
